 art Silicon Valley Phase II - Project Update\n\nVTA's BART Silicon Valley 
 Phase II Extension (BSVII) Project is a six-mile\, four-station extension 
 of the regional BART system from Berryessa/North through downtown San Jos
 é to the City of Santa Clara\, serving 55\,000 weekday riders. The BSVII 
 Project includes a six-mile extension from the existing Berryessa/North Sa
 n José BART Station\, with three underground station platforms\, one grou
 nd-level station\, and a new maintenance and storage facility.\n\nAbout th
 e Speakers\n\n\n\nJane Horvath\, PE\nDesign Lead\nMott MacDonald\n\nJane H
 orvath is a Principal Project Manager and Professional Engineer with 17 ye
 ars of experience\, specializing in design and delivery of rail transit in
 frastructure projects.  She earned her bachelor’s degree from UC Berkel
 ey\, and has worked on projects across the US and Canada.  Her background
  is in structural engineering of bridges and underground structures.  How
 ever\, for the past 10 years\, she has been focused on multidisciplinary d
 esign leadership and project management for transit megaprojects such as B
 SVII in the Bay Area and Regional Connector in LA.  Jane currently serves
  as design lead for the BSVII project\, coordinating the track\, heavy civ
 il\, and tunneling aspects of design.  She has been a member of ASCE sinc
 e college\, and previously served as president of ASCE LA YMF.\n\n&nbsp\;\
